Baggot Street Bridge

€275.00

Original Oil Painting of Baggot Street Bridge, over the Grand Canal in Dublin’s Southside. The Bridge was built in 1791, so has stood the test of time. A very historic area of Dublin, that saw a lot of action during 1916. The canal itself was where Patrick Kavanagh loved to walk, and the statue of him is just over the Bridge. And very importantly, the canal was used to transport Guinness to Dublin up to the 1960’s.
