A Limited edition Fine Art Print. Mounted in a wooden frame and ready to hang.
The Gravediggers is a unique pub and legendary pub in Glasnevin, Dublin. The gate on the left is an old entrance to Glasnevin Cemetery, where over 1.5m people are buried - keeping gravediggers busy and thirsty over the years! The Cemetery was founded by Daniel O’Connell in 1832, and the Gravediggers pub opened in 1833. Its hard to imagine the amount of stories that have been told over almost 200 years where these two renowned institutions meet.
The warm lights in the windows are reflected in the wet road outside. You can almost hear the clink of glasses….it would be very hard to pass the open doorway and not pop in.
The print is 30 × 25 cm approx, and the outer frame is 43 × 39 cm approx.
