If are are lucky enough to be in Connemara on a lovely summers day, these are the colours you’ll see. When I was starting this painting I was thinking of rockpools, but it merged into something else. I love the movement in the water. Even when the tide is out, the water in a little inlet like this will always be swirling and churning, and reshaping the landscape.
